Two weeks ago, Self and Google Cloud's USA₮ Mainnet Faucet went live, unlocking free stablecoins for real, verified humans for the first time. Following early user traction, the teams have increased USA₮ distribution to $10 for a limited time only\\\. Valora has supported USA₮, a U.S.-regulated dollar stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., and backed by Tether, since it deployed on Celo in July. Faucet claims are gasless and open to eligible users worldwide.

How It Works:
- Visit Google Cloud’s Mainnet Faucet portal
- Connect your Valora wallet to the USA₮ Mainnet Faucet
- Verify your identity with Self, using your biometric passport, ID card, Aadhaar, or other eligible government-issued identification
- Self uses zero-knowledge technology to generate a proof that you are eligible (18+, not a resident of an OFAC-sanctioned country) without ever transmitting your raw personal data
- Once your Self verification is complete, your wallet will immediately receive 5 USA₮ for free
- Send USA₮ to another Celo wallet to receive another 2 USA₮
- Hold 50 USA₮ or more on Valora for at least 10 consecutive days to receive another 3 USA₮
