Self and Google Cloud’s USA₮ Mainnet Faucet is now live, unlocking free stablecoins for real, verified humans for the first time. Valora has supported USA₮, a U.S.-regulated dollar stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., and backed by Tether, since it deployed on Celo last month. Claims through the Faucet are gasless and open to eligible users worldwide.
How It Works:
- Visit the Mainnet Faucet portal
- Connect your Valora wallet to the USA₮ Mainnet Faucet
- Verify your identity with Self, using your biometric passport, ID Card, Aadhaar, or other eligible government-issued identification
- Self uses zero-knowledge technology to generate a proof that you are eligible (18+, not a resident of an OFAC-sanctioned country) without ever transmitting your raw personal data
- Once your Self Pass is verified, your wallet will immediately receive 0.5 USA₮ at no cost
- Send USA₮ to another Celo wallet to receive another 0.2 USA₮
- Hold 5 USA₮ or more on Valora for at least 10 consecutive days to receive another 0.3 USA₮

Support for Celo-native USA₮ is expanding across the ecosystem, with blue-chip DeFi protocols, payments platforms, and exchanges adding the asset in the coming weeks.
